Welcome to the lending career you always wanted, as a member of one of the top lending teams in the country, your role as an associate advisor is to utilize your professional and broker skills to understand the client, their client’s needs, lending characteristics, and qualifications to develop a trusted and amicable relationship with our clients and partners.


Your role is vital to our team, as you represent us to the client’s service, our lenders, and our referral partners that trusted us with their referral of business, all ultimately affect our reputation.


You are responsible to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the client intake and application and Pre-Review Summary processes and the fulfillment of the CL lender Conditions and other file closing activities to achieve a broker complete and funded solution by providing exceptional and professional client service.


New team members will receive expert guidance, focused support, and training to support and build your personal skill development, product and process efficiency, and knowledge. As well, you may receive support from your co-workers, in handling new or challenging situations as they arise.

You Have:

  • Experience in processing the following types of Documentation: Income (CRA), Financials, Bank Statements, Contracts, and Property Documents.
  • Focus on supporting reviewing mortgage lending and clearly explaining information to clients.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or executive assistant
  • Empathy and a HIGH focus on going above and beyond to exceed client expectations.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Strong phone and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organization skills
  • Desire to grow, learn and willingness to EXCEED client expectations.
  • Ability to adapt and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Technical aptitude, including experience with CRM’s, Office, and ability to learn other web applications.
  • Experience with FILOGIX is an asset
  • Ideally has experience reviewing lending documentation.
  • A Mortgage Broker License in BC will be a requirement of this position. If you do not currently have a license we will work with the right candidate to find one.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


Salary: $58,000.00-$71,000.00 per year
